A tour of the sections, tabs, and status banners inside an engagement.
Opening an engagement from the Engagements list takes you to its workspace — the hub for everything about that assessment.
Header area
From top to bottom you'll see:
- Back to Engagements — returns to the list.
- The lifecycle stepper — four steps (Pre-Assessment, Assess, Report, Close-Out) with the current CAP phase highlighted, plus days-in-phase and, when applicable, re-evaluation or appeals window badges.
- The package name with a status badge (for example In Progress or Pending Approval), the organization name, the target level, and the lead assessor.
- The action buttons on the right — which buttons appear depends on the phase and your role; see Completing an assessment.
- Package stats — control counts, evidence and asset counts, and the SPRS score.
Sections and tabs
Below the stats, a section switcher offers Package Data, Assessment, and Engagement. Each section has its own tab row.
Package Data — what the OSC submitted (read-only)

External (outside) engagements have no Package Data section — there is no imported package.

Status banners
Depending on the engagement's state, colored banners appear above the tabs:
- Live Assessment Mode / Assessment Mode Paused — whether the OSC's package is locked read-only while you assess (see Recording findings).
- Awaiting OSC Corrections — a correction opportunity is open and the OSC has edit access to their package.
- Pending Lead Assessor Approval — the assessment was submitted and awaits the lead's decision.
- Reworking findings — the lead sent the submission back; the engagement stays in the Report phase while the team revises.
- Assessment Complete — View Only — the engagement is completed and locked; see Completing an assessment.
